ABOUT A GIRL:

Once upon a time, while sitting on a sofa bed in her grandmother's apartment, Nebularific, a young woman raised as a Jewish homeschooler in Tennessee who now attends a local community college, decided that she needs a live journal. Several failed updating-more-frequently New Year's resolutions later, she feels she may finally be getting into the habit of posting slightly less sporadically then her current attitude of "it just ain't gonna happen" would seem to imply.

HER PERFECT DRUG:

She loves fandom. Fandom is her brain-meltingly-addictive-as-all-get-out drug of choice. Especially the fanfic-y bits. Her fandoms change (usually in the spring, from some reason), but currently they are [in order of degree of addiction, starting with the greatest]: Doctor Who, Stargate Atlantis, Buffy, Star Wars [mostly prequel, but not exclusively so], Stargate SG-1, & Angel. But, by the time you read this they've probably changed. Or at the very least shifted a little. She is open to new ideas and forms of fannish addiction. Share and share alike, that's what fandom is all about! Nebularific always loves a good crossover, and often seeks them out ad nauseam.

THE PEOPLE WHO SHARE HER AILMENTS:

She loves being friended and will almost certainly return the favor if asked. Nebularific doesn't think she's at all snobby, picky, or cliquey about who is and isn't on her flist, so no worries there. She also reads the comments on old entries, even if she doesn't always reply to them, so don't be afraid to comment on an old entry.

HER WRITING HABIT:

Over the years, Nebularific has written fanfiction under the pen name Fallen Darkness is the following fandoms: HP, Buffy, and SG-1 [zine]; all but the SG-1 fic is available at fanfiction.net under said username, and at various fandom archives on the web. Nebularific has decided that all new fan fic she writes will be under the pen name 'Nebularific'. If she decides to post new stuff on ff.net, it will be under her previously mentioned username. New fic will be posted (or at least pimped) here on LJ. (Old fic too, possibly... If she ever gets around to the editing/rewriting she's had on her agenda for a few years now.)

She struggles with her spelling, so please, don't bite her head off and piss on the bleeding stump. Concrit in most any form is (almost) always welcome, so just let her know and she'll fix it. She might even say thank you.

ETA: Nebularific would like to add that she is not usually this pompous and high handed. She does not normally refer to herself in the third person, but had fun doing it that way just this once(ish).

FYI: Here is a link to her ff.net profile. Nebularific asks you to please keep in mind that the fic posted there is old and she feels it doesn't really reflect her current writing style. She can't bear to take it down, though. She's weak. So very, very weak.
